The Social BUYING Network

Just because the economy is hurting, doesn’t mean your wallet has to thanks to a new trend in online shopping that's giving consumers a reason to go out and celebrate.

The leading social buying platform, Groupon, features a daily deal of products and services from great companies in cities worldwide. Living Social is another one of the most popular sites that get deals from local businesses in big cities and allow only a certain number of members to purchase the deal through their site for 24-hours.

Membership to these sites is free, and there’s even a site called DealSurf.com, which searches many of these “social buying” websites to deliver the best deals from your city right to your inbox, in just one e-mail.

The deals from these sites range anywhere from food to fun, home services to hang gliding- and it doesn’t stop there. There’s even a site called Group Golfer, devoted solely to deals for golfers. Sites like these are springing up everywhere, for all types of deals. What’s your hobby? You may be paying too much! Don’t take my word for it, check this trend out for yourself.
