Flagler College Social Media Class Fall 2012
Course Description
This course will focus on how to tap into the new consumer-driven media environment and gain access to audience intelligence necessary to properly brand and promote a company or client. We will compare traditional mainstream media used in public relations to new social media and emphasize the marriage that needs to exist between the two if promotional efforts are to be maximized in a rapidly changing environment. We will also highlight how social media can positively effect business to business relationships.

Professor Tutt
Professor Rosemary Tutt, APR, CPRC is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Flagler College and a public relations professional. Tutt ran her own PR firm for 16 years and received the Bob Myers Lifetime Achievement Award from The Florida Public Relations Association in 2008.
Professor Tutt has taught at Flagler College for nine years. She is the faculty adviser for the public relations pre-professional organization, PRSSA, and public relations firm, DOW Advantage.
